MAEP Professional Development Meeting Presents . . .
September 29, 2026
Join us for an in‑depth panel discussion on EGLE RRD’s newly adopted draft Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Building Pressure Cycling, a developing technique for vapor intrusion (VI) investigations where building pressure is manipulated to assess worst case VI conditions.
This session will feature three professionals who have directly implemented and managed pressure‑cycling projects across Michigan:
Sam Baushke, EGLE RRD Technical Support Section
Brian Ross, GRT
Jeff Crum, Hamp Mathews
Together, they will be prepared to discuss how building pressure cycling works, what they’ve learned in real‑world applications, and how the method is evolving as more practitioners adopt it.
Topics will include:
- Fundamentals
- Field experiences
- Lessons learned
- How the SOP is shaping implementation moving forward
Where the method is headed and opportunities for continued refinement
Whether you’re a regulator, consultant, project manager, or stakeholder looking to better understand vapor intrusion diagnostics, this discussion will offer practical insights and perspectives from people who have been directly involved in advancing the technique.
