MAEP is excited to announce the promotion of our Administrative Professional, Cheryl Anne Farmer, to the position of Executive Director. On January 11, 2016, Cheryl Anne took over for Lynne Kohon, former Executive Director who retired after 28 years of dedicated service to MAEP. Over the past 15 months, Cheryl Anne has been instrumental in upgrading our e-systems for announcements, finances, and our newly redesigned website, as well as advertising and making venue arrangements for our Professional Development Meetings. In addition, she has been very active on the Executive Committee and working with the MAEP Board of Directors, providing the benefit of her years of experience as the owner of an association management company, CA Management, LLC. Cheryl Anne is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Commercial Recreation, and is a member of the Michigan Society of Association Executives (MSAE) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI). Currently, she manages the Michigan Association of Professional Court Reporters and both the Michigan Chapter and North Central Regional Council of the National Association of Housing & Redevelopment Officials. Cheryl Anne enjoys reading, the outdoors, boating, snowmobiling and most of all spending time with her two daughters, Mallory (12), Cassidy (10) and her husband Bryan.
