| Membership Dues and Requirements: |
| Membership Category | Yearly Dues | Privileges | Requirements |
| General | $ 60.00 | Full Voting Privileges/May Hold Office | Minimum of 3 years credible professional experience in responsible charge is required. |
| Associate | $ 40.00 | Non-Voting Privileges/May Not Hold Office | Persons not having attained the experience required for General membership. |
| Student | $ 10.00 | Non-Voting Privileges/May Not Hold Office | Persons who are full time students and are interested in the environmental field. |
| Institutional | $ 250.00 | Full Voting Privileges/May Hold Office | Corporations, partnerships, agencies of federal, state, or local governments, and other entities shall be eligible for institutional membership. This membership allows one member to hold voting privileges. Additionally, three persons from the Institution may attend each MAEP meeting at the membership rate. As an added benefit, the Institutional Member is allowed to place one business card size advertisement in the MAEP newsletter per year at no cost. |

The National Association of Environmental Professionals was founded in 1975. The NAEP publishes a quarterly journal entitled Environmental Practice and a monthly newsletter available on-line. The NAEP holds a well-attended Annual Conference co-sponsored each year by a different local chapter. Qualified persons interested in becoming members may contact the head office as listed below.
