MAEP Members Seeking Employment:

My name is Chris Tylenda and I am looking for full or part-time summer employment in the area of environmental consulting. I am a student member of MAEP that recently graduated with my B.S. in Environmental Studies (biology concentration with civil engineering). I am planning to attend graduate school to obtain my M.S. degree in Sustainable Systems this fall.

Of particular interest may be the fact that I did an internship at Environmental Consulting Technologies in Ann Arbor in 2008, where I performed many job functions related to the environment. These are noted in my resume. I am OSHA HAZWOPER Certified, and have experience with AUTOCAD and ArcViewGIS software. I have taken Civil Engineering courses, including watershed water quality analysis, surveying, solid and hazardous waste management, and geotechnical engineering. My field sampling experience is a result of both my work experience at ECT and my extensive academic fieldwork in biological sciences. The uniqueness and benefit of my biological and engineering education can be seen in the depth of my coursework listed at the end of my resume.

In just a few days, I will be sitting for the LEED Green Associate exam.

I am available until mid August, and will be living in the Detroit Area until then.

Thank you for your consideration. My resume can be downloaded here.
