MAEP Members Seeking Employment: |

I am a student member of MAEP and I am looking for summer employment in the area of environmental consulting. I will be finishing my B.S. in Environmental Studies in May. I have supplemented my degree with Civil Engineering courses, and plan to return to ONU for the 2009-2010 school year to take more CE courses and hopefully study abroad during Spring 2010 in an Environmental Management program at the University of Havana. I am looking for full time work for the summer. I felt my skills might be of immediate benefit to MAEP members or their companies in an internship-type position or as a staff professional doing environmentally related work.
Of particular interest may be the fact that I did an internship at Environmental Consulting Technologies in Ann Arbor last summer, and performed many job functions related to the environment. These are noted in my resume. I am OSHA HAZWOPER Certified, and have experience with AUTOCAD and ArcViewGIS software. I have taken a course in surveying. My field sampling experience is a result of both my work experience at ECT and my extensive academic fieldwork in biological sciences. The uniqueness of my biological and engineering education can be seen in the depth of my coursework listed at the end of my resume. I am available after May 25th, and will be living in the Detroit Area. My resume can be downloaded here. |
